The Documentation Centre of the Institute of Bartolomé de Las Casas offers an important source of information about the works and themes which relate to the life of the Catholic Church and the social reality of Latin America since the 1970s. It contains information on the development of liberation theology and the churches option for the poor since it began up until the present day. We also have created a ecumenical network of libraries who specialise in theology and philosophy.
The centre contains:
A library contains 12,500 books.
Newspaper and Magazine section contains 3,150 titles.
Archives: with more than 2,000 documents, many of which are originals as wells a Peruvian newspaper articles about the Catholic Church.
Archives which include a collections of videos, CDs and cassettes.
