These courses offer people a direct way to get to know the customs, traditions and the experience of faith in the daily life of the Peruvian people. The course combines the intellectual with direct contact with the people in immersion experiences in the coast, mountains and jungle. By participating in the program we hope that the participants would gain a greater awareness of the role of their respective countries in globalization and how they operate the context of North-South relationship. In this way the participants would be motivated to work in the own countries to establish links of solidarity and work for structural change in this globalize world. We offer these courses at the request of people from different countries that have groups of over ten people.

Conditions

- Minimum of 10 participants.

- Cost varies according to the duration and localities visited. A three weeks course shall cost per person approx. $1750.. (US dollars).

Included

- Airline tickets for domestic (within country) travel only.

- Classes and discussion forums conducted in english, french or spanish at the request of the participant.

- Lodging, food, and transportation for the duration of the participantīs stay in Peru.

Not included
- Round trip airfare between country of origin and Peru.

Note: it will be to the participantīs advantage to have a basic knowledge of Spanish language for better communication and dialogue during visits to grassroots group and poorer suburbs.

Duration
Two or three weeks, according to the participantīs personal schedule and availabillity.
